Lower heating bills and reduce CO2 emissions with the Ultimate Window Collection: did you know that heat loss through windows can account for up to 30% of total heat loss from your home? It therefore makes sense to fit energy rated replacement windows to lower heating bills, as well as to reduce harmful CO2 emissions.
PVCu Profiles has an exceptional energy rating: a computerised simulation is used to measure solar heat gain, thermal losses and air losses. Windows are then rated on a scale from A to G, with an A rating being the most thermally efficient. Computerised simulations of PCVu Profiles Ultimate Window System profiles, along with glass sealed unit specifications, achieve an outstanding energy rating of A+8.
Glass Sealed Units: our glass sealed units are 28mm total width, consisting of two panes of 4mm thick glass and a 20mm Spacer bar.
Security: the Ultimate Window has been refined and designed to protect you and your home, and provide you with total reassurance and peace of mind. The locking technology at the heart of every casement window incorporates 12 security features (subject to casement size). There are a total of 12 locks, in all four directions, 2 Steel shoot bolts, 4 central collared cams, 2 high security hinges with penny-slot easy clean facility and 4 unique Ultimate anti-jemmy claws.
Safety: for your safety, easy clean fire escape hinges are fitted to all side-opening windows. These will open to a full 90 degrees, to give you an alternative means of fire escape, should you need it, and can slide towards the centre to allow for easy external cleaning.
Style: there is a choice of Bevelled or Ovolo frames depending on your preference and the style of property. You also have a choice of white, gold, chrome, satin and black locking handles. There is also a large selection of frame finishes from white gloss, white woodgrain, cream woodgrain, Irish oak, cherry wood, rosewood, light grey woodgrain, dark grey woodgrain, and black woodgrain.
Installation: PVCu Profiles are Certass accredited, which means we work to an agreed code of practice that includes a full understanding of building regulations and all other government requirements.
Prior to your installation, a full and accurate survey will be carried out. This survey ensures that your chosen style of windows or doors will blend sympathetically with your home.
What is Certass? Certass stands for ‘Certification and Self-Assessment’ and is a Competent Person Scheme set up by the government to provide an alternative to submitting a building notice or using an approved Local Authority inspector. All Certass registered contractors are vetted to ensure they are qualified to carry out installation work in accordance with the current building regulations and, once an installation is complete, Certass provides you with the Building Regulation Compliance Certificate for the work carried out.
Guarantees: all works carried out by PVCu Profiles are covered by our Ten Year unconditional guarantee on workmanship and materials. This guarantee is transferable and is Insurance Backed by Quality Assured National Warranties (QANW.) In addition, we register all installations with QANW, who will issue a Guarantee directly to you. All Window and door installations will also be registered with the Certass Certification and Self-Assessment Scheme. PVCu Profiles membership number is 003604: contact Certass on 08450-948025 for verification.
